As of Noon Thursday, nearly 90 percent of Madison Gas and Electric customers have had their service restored. MGE said he storm caused outages to approximately 46,000 of its electric customers at its peak. Due to the number of separate outage incidents and the large number of impacted customers, MGE said the outage related to Tuesday's storms is the largest in its recent history.
