The FIA has revealed sporting regulation tweaks ahead of the new season, with Q3 having another minute added for drivers to set a quick time.
The 2026 F1 season starts in Melbourne for the Australia Grand Prix on 8th March. The teams will travel to the Albert Park circuit, where the race has been held every year since 1996, with the exceptions of 2020 and 2021. Before being staged at the Melbourne venue, the Australian Grand Prix was raced in Adelaide.

The FIA has approved adjustments to the Formula 1 qualifying regulations for the 2026 season. The changes are driven by the addition of an 11th team to the grid: Cadillac will join as a full-time constructor.
